Patricia Shoap - Worker Comp in Chambersburg, PA
Patricia Shoap has been a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania for more than 35 years. She is also recognized as a Workers' Compensation Law Certified Specialist in Pennsylvania. She received her law degree at Dickinson School of Law in 1980. She attended college at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, receiving both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 1977. After law school, she was a law clerk for a Pennsylvania appellate court Judge at Commonwealth Court for more than five years. She has also served as a Hearing Examiner for the Department of Education and a labor attorney at Letterkenny Army Depot. Attorney Shoap has been in private practice in Chambersburg since 1994. Her practice is limited exclusively to representing injured workers' compensation clients and disabled individuals who have filed claims for Social Security Disability and/or SSI. She also has an appellate practice at United States District Court, representing Social Security Disability clients on appeal. She has served as a council member on the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, as well as the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. She has served on the Boards for Mid-Penn Legal Services and the Cumberland Valley School of Music, as well as serving on the scholarship review committee for Kids' Chance, a non-profit organization which awards college scholarships to the children of injured workers in Pennsylvania.
Lindsey Shoap - Worker Comp in Chambersburg, PA
Lindsey Shoap is also a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania. She received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark and received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College. Her practice includes representing injured workers and Social Security disability clients, as well as those in need of special education representation or special needs trusts. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States District Court. She serves as a Board member of the Chambersburg Community Theater.
Linda Nance is a certified paralegal, who has been employed at Shoap Law Offices for more than 20 years. She received her education at Pennsylvania State University. She is highly trained in both Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation and Social Security diability law, having attended continuing education seminars in each of our areas of practice. She provides assistance to our attorneys in analyzing Social Security files and managing our Workers' Compensation practice.
Mary Lou Seilhamer has worked for over 15 years at Shoap Law Offices as our Social Security specialist. She is involved in developing the Social Security files at our office, so that they are complete for presentation at a Judge's hearing. Prior to her employment at Shoap Law, Mary Lou worked for more than 30 years for the Social Security Administration, before retiring as a Service Representative. As a result, she is extremely knowledgeable regarding Social Security practices and procedures.
Vicki Gontz has served as administrative assistant at Shoap Law Offices for over 15 years. She is involved in a myriad of tasks, including managing our electronic filings and complicated calendaring system; scheduling medical depositions and handling accounts payable.
Brenda Wagner has provided clerical services for Shoap Law Offices for nearly 15 years. Her multiple responsibilities include organizing client files; obtaining background information from potential clients; electronic filing of Social Security records and providing computer support for the staff.
